An encrypted chat app without restrictions
Because I disagree with EU policy and see it merely as the legalisation of surveillance of every citizen (except politicians) under the guise of “protecting children”, I decided to write my own chat platform, available to everyone. I hold the view that even if it is “just” a chat, it should still be covered by the secrecy of correspondence. The app was created on principle.
End-to-end encryption
Messages are encrypted directly between devices (AES-256-GCM); the server never sees their content.
Sync without the cloud
Phone, computer and tablet synchronise directly with each other – with no central message store.
No tracking
No ads, no selling of data, no hidden analytics SDKs. The server only delivers; it remembers nothing.
iOS
iOS support is in preparation.
The app is still under development, so minor bugs or unfinished parts may occasionally appear. I work on the whole project alone in my free time. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
